The aim of the article is to analyze the relationship between political elites and University in Argentina during the first decades of the 20th. Century. This relationship is studied in the first half of the article through the debates about study plans in the Faculty of Laws. In the second half of the article, are analyzed the ways in which the problems of Argentinean politics (mainly those related to electoral reforms and federal interventions) were studied in doctoral theses of the Faculty of Laws in Córdoba and Buenos Aires.
