Abstract

This paper addresses the following questions: How, where and when did we start to acknowledge the requests of what academics call “epistemic justice”?  How people are taking epistemic justice into their own hands? Which is the Mexican national State’s role in all this? Why and what for could be relevant to reflect on this topic, regarding the current moments of violence, crises, and war in our cities, communities, towns, families, working, and struggle places?
