An initial analysis of a particular anthropomorphic motif recorded on rock art panels from the Casabindo region is presented. It is proposed that this figure expresses connections with modes of expression of concepts of political/religious prestige during the Regional Development and Inka periods in the Puna of Jujuy. Based on the methodology of iconic semiotics and the search for analogical referents in other media, the attire and compositional schemes of the images are analyzed. First, design patterns shared with pottery are proposed as indicators of local ethnic characteristics. Second, similarities are proposed with compositional schemes present on wooden tablets and bronze discs, artifacts linked to the representation of power in the South-Central Andes..
