Abstract

The introduction of the camera in ephemeral practices has altered the concept of linear time and the unidirectional reception of the action. With a similar process, Internet as a creative and diffusion space has multiplied reception channels and thus, it has modified the concepts of time(s), space(s) and presence(s).

Through specific examples that explore the intermediate space between camera-body-eye, this proposal analyzes the treatment of the body in some ephemeral practices that use audiovisual technologies, to reflect on its influence in the space of the action. Furthermore, it will appretiate to what extent certain concepts, such as presence, absence, time, body and perception, are altered/distorted.
